Established in 2018, the Swim School originated with the purpose of aiding the continuous upkeep and oversight of an outdoor heated swimming pool at a local school. Since its inception, the school has grown to encompass various new locations in the surrounding area.
Mission:
Our swim school is committed to preventing the closure of local pools due to financial constraints. Our primary objective is to secure the sustained existence of these excellent facilities and make them available to a broad audience, ensuring their long-term viability.
Partnerships:
Heathfield Swim School collaborates closely with nearby primary schools, PTA's, businesses, and organisations to promote the endurance, sustainability, and accessibility of outstanding local facilities.

Heathfield Swim School is a compact, family-operated business that holds the belief that every child should acquire swimming skills in a secure, enjoyable, and friendly environment.
Our Lessons:
Our primary objective is to establish a strong foundation for each child, fostering the acquisition and refinement of swimming skills, fitness, and water safety from the early stages of development. Through this approach, we aspire to instill in children the ability to stay safe and gain enjoyment from all aquatic experiences, paving the way for progression from early development to various aquatic disciplines such as Competitive Swimming, Lifesaving, and Artistic Swimming.

With our fully qualified ASA and STA accredited swimming teachers your children can learn to swim in a professional, safe and fun environment.
Our Team:
Our swim school has fully qualified swimming instructors, complemented by a team of adept first aiders and vigilant lifeguards committed to ensuring the safety of children and other pool users.
Our Experience:
Rooted in swimming and leisure backgrounds, our team collectively possesses over 50 years of experience in teaching, lifeguarding, and pool management, assuring a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
Our Sites:
The swim school conducts lessons at two primary schools: Cross In Hand Primary School and Maynards Green Primary School.
The Pools:
All our operating pools are compact and feature temperature control, creating an ideal environment for children aged 4 years and above. The water is heated to a comfortable range of 29-31 degrees.
Our Classes:
We prioritise individualised and personalised instruction for each child, addressing their specific needs. Our goal is to infuse fun into our lessons, incorporating a range of skill-based games to make the learning process less intimidating and more enjoyable.
External Hires:
The Swim School collaborates with the Friends of Cross In Hand School and Friends of Maynards Green to facilitate external bookings of their facilities.
Family Bookings: Accommodating up to 2 households or a maximum of 10 individuals.
Pool Parties: Limited to a maximum attendance of 20 people on-site.
External Bookings: In addition, The Swim School maintains strong connections with various local businesses and organisations. If you are interested in renting the facility, please feel free to contact us.
